This page explains the cookies Shoreano uses. It describes what the site actually does today, not what an online shop might do in general.
The short version
We use strictly necessary cookies and Google Analytics. We run no advertising or marketing tags, no social media pixels and no affiliate tracking, and we do not sell browsing data. Google Analytics helps us see how visitors use the site; you can opt out at any time under Cookie settings.
The strictly necessary cookies are needed to provide a service you have asked for. Google Analytics runs on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and you can switch it off at any time — see “Opting out of analytics” below.
What actually gets set, and when
Google Analytics cookies are set when a page loads, unless you have opted out. The others are set only when you do something that needs them:

All of these are first-party cookies, set on this website’s own domain. None of them follow you to other sites or feed advertising.
Third parties
The only third-party script the website loads is Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited). It tells Google which page you view, how you reached it, your device and browser type and your approximate location; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google may process this data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Fonts are served from our own server.
Two exceptions apply when you actively use a service:
- Payment. When you pay, you are handed to our payment provider’s secure form. They set their own cookies under their own policy, and card details never reach our servers.
- Delivery. Tracking links take you to the carrier’s own website, which has its own cookie policy.
Managing or clearing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time — every major browser has this under Privacy or Site data. Blocking the cookies above will stop the basket, login and checkout from working, because they are what make those features possible.
Opting out of analytics
Open Cookie settings at any time and choose Opt out. Google Analytics is switched off for your browser and its cookies are deleted; your choice is remembered for six months. If we ever add advertising or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
